Atlantic Avenue, running from I-95 to the ocean, is the downtown's main street of restaurants, shops and art fairs, with the Pineapple Grove arts district to its north and Old School Square as the cultural center.
The city has about three miles of coast and hosts the Delray Beach Open, an annual ATP tournament. Tri-Rail and Amtrak stop here; the nearest Brightline station is in Boca Raton.
